Potato Starch Recovery

During pre-processing operations like peeling, cutting etc. potato cells release a considerable amount of starch which is washed away using fresh water. This starch cannot be drained as it increased the BOD/COD count of the wastewater. Recovering this starch using a starch recovery unit reduces the load on the ETP and also reduces its power consumption. The recovered starch can be sold as a byproduct.

We are the largest manufacturer of starch recovery units in India and have supplied systems over the globe.
